  • have gotten feedback on their work that has taken their work to another level*

Why is this course priced higher than your other courses?

That's a great question and deserves a thoughtful answer. And here it is:

Not only does this course have a LOT of good, incredibly useful content (like all of my courses <g>), but there is more video content and each lesson also includes an audio download to listen on the go, while my other courses do not.

But not only do I feel the course is worth the price due to content, I also want to motivate you. The goal of this course is to save you a lot of time, frustration and maybe even some embarrassment (learn from my mistakes!). But to do all that, you actually have to finish the course!

My belief is that when we writers invest money in our careers, we also put in the time and effort we need to take full advantage of that investment--and research probably bears this out.

With this investment, you will learn what you need to act as a professional in the wonderful world of children's publishing. And the more writers who know and understand the business, the better it is for all of us.

I hope to see you in the course!

Note that I also offer options for installment payments if that works better for you.

If you are interested in purchasing individual lessons at a higher per lesson rate, you can do so at my Gumroad store

This course is not for

Writers who...

  • have been around the block and already know all this stuff :-)
  • want to self-publish their book
  • have just started getting into writing
  • haven't taken any classes or workshops to hone their skills
  • have never gotten feedback on their work or done serious revision
  • are not sure what they want to do with their story/stories
  • are still trying to figure out their calling and aren't ready to invest in their career as a children's book author

I purchased a package! How do I get my critique or consult?
If you've purchased a package that comes with feedback, a critique and/or a consult, you will receive instructions on what to do and when to do it 30-90 days after purchase, depending on the package. This "delay" is to give you time to get through the course material, which is a must for anyone wanting to get feedback. It ensures that what you send is as ready as it can be at that time so you receive the best, most helpful feedback possible. And if you haven't gotten through the material, it will be a gentle reminder to dive back in so you can take advantage of what you paid for! NOTE: If you purchased your package on an installment plan, all payments must be completed before we schedule a critique or consult.
When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
